About us:
Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service officially opened 22nd May 2022 as an extension of services of Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service.
Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Health Service provide a culturally appropriate health and wellbeing service for our community to help address the general health and identified Aboriginal Health issues.
Our Services:
Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, except public holidays. We offer 20 or 40 minute appointments and are a bulk billing service, our team provide the following services:
- GP Services
- Immunisations
- Health Assessments
- Chronic Disease Management
- Wound Management
- Minor Procedures
Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Health Service have engaged a number of Allied Health services to provide future clinics such as Dietitian, Diabetes Educator, Optometry, Podiatrist, Counselling, Pharmacist and Women’s Health.
Our team is committed to preventative care and use a patient recall system to recall patients with a follow up appointment.
