About the Dubbo AMS
Dubbo Regional Aboriginal Medical Service is a partnership initiative of Bila Muuji Aboriginal Health Services Inc. and the Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council (AH&MRC) with the prime aim of providing continuity of primary health care to the Dubbo Aboriginal Community.
Dubbo Regional Aboriginal Medical Service provides the following services:
- GP Services
- Health Checks
- Chronic Disease Management
- Women’s Health
Please note we bulk bill and transport is available.
Dubbo AMS provide a culturally appropriate Health and Well Being Services to our community.
We provide a number of services to our community to help address General Health and Identified Aboriginal health issues.
We have a number of Available services such as Health Assessments, Pap Smears, Pregnancy tests, ECGS, Blood Sugar Levels BSL’S Childhood vaccinations, Wound Dressings, antenatal care and school screenings.
We have a number of visiting Allied services available such as Optometrist, Dietician, Podiatrist, diabetes educator, pharmacist and Psychologist.
Laverty Pathology is based on site at Dubbo AMS.
Patient Recall System Patients will be contacted regarding tests results and a follow up appointment. Dubbo AMS are committed to preventative care.
